Everybody is peeping into their crystal ball and making predictions about what will happen as the removal of the 'Like' on Instagram settles into normalcy. According to Facebook, "The theory goes that by hiding like counts, users may feel less self-conscious when they post photos or videos that don’t receive many likes. Facebook Quietly Launches Meme App (Business Insider)

Meme culture is thriving, just seemingly not as robustly on Facebook as other platforms. This experimental app allows users to generate memes that can be easily edited and shared across social media and messaging apps, but is only currently available in Canada's App Store.

Snapchat To Debut Cameo Video Meme Feature 12/18 (Adweek)

 Snapchat is also trying to get in on the meme action. Users will be able to add their face to a popular meme, and has a Cameo integration as well for easy, creative and personalized content.
