When brands are gearing up to work with influencers, part of the process undoubtedly will be to set criteria to help identify the perfect influencer. While many storytelling terms and vanity metrics often become priority, many marketers will also want to focus on regionality and local culture to elevate marketing messages and reaffirm a personal connection to the brand. That’s why many customers leverage our Location filter that helps pinpoint where influencers currently live. With the Location filter, you can set a radius to discover influencers from a specific area to support regional launches or tap into cultural moments. To learn more about our Location filter, see this Help Center article.

The first and most important thing to know about Story Pins is that they aren’t like Stories on other platforms—but Pinterest’s newest update to the platform organizes them into a unified feed which social media users will find comfortable and familiar. Called Story Pin “following streams,” the new feature displays Story content at the top of the home page in an immersive flow and “Discover” tab, just like Instagram. However when you tap on a Story Pin, it looks just like a standard Pin, complete with captions, comments, & reactions, and it can even be added to a Pinboard. The feature allows creators to connect with their established audiences and reach new ones more effectively than ever.
