Dear Julius,

I’m looking for some clarification about autodetection. Could you please explain exactly what it is, and how it works? Also, I’d love to hear about how it could help me organize my next influencer marketing campaign. Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,
Emily

Hi Emily,

Thank you for reaching out to us! We’d be happy to help you get to know the platform better, and teach you a few useful tips for getting the most out of the autodetection feature.

Autodetection is an automated campaign management tool that recognizes and organizes social media content from an influencer partner in real time. When you add an influencer to your campaign, any post they make that tags your brand, or campaign hashtag, in the copy of the post is automatically added to a spreadsheet-like format in Julius’ Reporting section, where you can track engagement, estimated impressions, and more.

To leverage autodetection, set up a campaign with start and end dates, your brand’s social media accounts, influencers, and campaign hashtags. From there, Julius does all the hard work, gathering and organizing every post in the campaign without the need for manual monitoring. To help stay organized–but totally optional–if you want to plan a roadmap for your campaign before anything goes live, you can set up deliverables for upcoming posts to track if they’re scheduled, live, or overdue.

The autodetection feature is great for organizing and tracking your campaign, but perhaps the most valuable benefit it offers is saving you time. Eliminating manual monitoring saves you from having to construct and maintain an up-to-date spreadsheet–instead, you can use that time to take a step back, view your campaign at a glance, and strategize with the big picture in mind. Also consider: with less tedious, time-consuming work to do, interns and new employees have more opportunities to develop new skills and grow into full-fledged professionals. You and your whole team can spend more time focusing on the goals and ideas that matter most to your brand.

We hope that this information can help you make the most out of your next influencer campaign. If you have any more questions, please drop a ticket into the Help Center and we’ll always be happy to help.

Best,
Julius
